If you are planning a shopping trip or staying out late for a few eggnogs this festive season why not try the bus?

From Bristol and its traditional Christmas Market you can travel back to North Somerset late at night. To Nailsea there are departures on the X8/X9 from the city centre at 2240, 2310, 0010 (Mondays to Saturdays) and at 0110 on a Saturday. The X2 also provides late departures back to Portishead and Pill from Monday to Saturday with the last bus departing Bristol Bus Station as late as 0130 if your work Christmas Party carries on into the early hours!

The X6 can take you back to merry Clevedon from Bristol City Centre as late as 0005 from Monday to Saturday or if you are heading back to Weston-super-Mare from festivities in Bristol the W1 runs on the hour until midnight.

Special services are running on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day on the X2 service (between Portishead and Bristol via Pill) and the X9 service (between Nailsea and Bristol via Long Ashton). So you can travel sustainably and comfortably into the city centre on Boxing Day to get stuck into the sales!

If you are planning on late night shopping or having a few mulled wines in Weston Town Centre this Christmas, you can take the bus back home later than you think. Late evening journeys travel across Weston on the 16, 103 and other services so you can avoid the stress of driving.
