There are several discounted Railcards that you can use to travel with 1/3 off many rail fares.

16-25 Railcard

For users aged 16-25, or a mature student – 26 years or older and in full-time study. Visit www.16-25railcard.co.uk

Senior Railcard

For users aged 60 or above. Visit www.senior-railcard.co.uk

Two Together Railcard

Family and Friends Railcard

60% off kids’ fares throughout Great Britain and can be used by up to four adults and four kids. The card can be issued in the name of two adults, so that when one named person can’t use it, the other one can, as long as there is at least one child over the age of five travelling.

Disabled Persons Railcard

For just £20 a year the Railcard gives you – and one adult travelling with you – 1/3 off most First Class and standard rail fares throughout Great Britain. www.disabledpersons-railcard.co.uk

HM Forces Railcard

The HM Forces Railcard costs £15 and it will save you 1/3 on most rail fares throughout Great Britain for a whole year. You are eligible if you are a member of the Regular Forces or a spouse of a member. www.hmforces-railcard.co.uk

Discounts

There are several discounts which are dependent on different train companies. For example there is the GroupSave discounted ticket where three or four adults or children can travel together for the price of two adults on various off-peak ticket types.
