    Trains between Manchester Piccadilly and Stoke-on-Trent will not run.

    Trains between Manchester Piccadilly and Crewe via Manchester Airport will be diverted to terminate / start from Wilmslow.

    Train services which normally run between Nottingham and Cardiff Central will operate between Nottingham and Coleshill Parkway and then Birmingham New Street and Cardiff Central.

    Trains to / from North East and Scotland will divert via an alternative route not calling at Tamworth. Journey times will be extended by one hour.

    All day no trains will call at Pangbourne.

    From the 10:38 London Paddington to Didcot Parkway and until the 12:12 Didcot Parkway to London Paddington trains, services will terminate / start at Reading with road transport between Reading, Tilehurst, Pangbourne, Goring & Streatley, Cholsey and Didcot Parkway.

    From 11:38 the London Paddington to Didcot Parkway and from the 13:12 (departing 13:14) Didcot Parkway to London Paddington, train services will use alternative platforms at Tilehurst, Goring & Streatley and Cholsey and will not call at Pangbourne. Customers for Pangbourne travel to Tilehurst for a bus to Pangbourne taking 10 minutes. Customers from Pangbourne travel by bus from Pangbourne to Tilehurst to connect into the trains.

    The following trains will depart London Paddington 1 minute earlier than normal:

    • Reading and Didcot Parkway (2 buses per hour) taking 45 minutes

    Buses replace evening trains between Wrexham Central / Wrexham General and Bidston from Monday 2 to Wednesday 4 September

    Engineering work is taking place between Wrexham General and Bidston, closing all lines on Monday to Wednesday evenings.

    As a result, the following trains will be replaced by buses:

    • 19:45 Wrexham General to Bidston (Birkenhead North)
    • 20:46 Bidston (dep: Birkenhead North at 20:36) to Wrexham Central
    • 21:52 Wrexham Central to Bidston (Birkenhead North)
    • 22:58 Bidston (dep: Birkenhead North at 22:48) to Wrexham General

    Buses will run to / from Birkenhead North due to improved accessibility at that station.

    An additional rail replacement bus will also be provided for customers looking to connect onto the 23:34 Merseyrail service from Birkenhead North to Liverpool Central, departing Wrexham Central at 21:12.

    No rail replacement buses will call at Hawarden Bridge because of poor road access. For Hawarden Bridge, you should use Shotton instead, which is approximately 0.6 miles away along National Cycle Route 5.
