3Worle - Searle CrescentFirstThere are a number of changes to the route and timetable of Service 3 from 3 September 2017.

The route is curtailed to operate between Worle (Sainsburys) and Searle Crescent and will no longer serve West Wick. This change will aid with the allocation of larger vehicles to Service 3 and also improve reliability and punctuality.

The route will also change where Ellenborough Park North will no longer be served, with Service 3 operating via Walliscote Road instead. Customers using the bus stop on Ellenborough Park North will need to use alternative nearby bus stops. Again, this change is to aid the allocation of larger vehicles to Service 3 and addresses issues with parked vehicles.

The frequency is revised with buses operating every 15 minutes Monday to Saturday daytime across the entire route. This will result in an increased frequency between the Town Centre and Worle, however, the frequency between the Town Centre and Bourneville Estate will be reduced to every 15 minutes.

The above frequency changes will allow for a more reliable and punctual service to be operated, which better matches customer demand. Departure times are revised to provide a more even spacing of departures along Locking Road with Services X1 and X2.
