A commuter challenge which promotes the use of sustainable transport on the journey to work has been launched today (Monday 4 June).The Travelwest Challenge aims to get as many people as possible walking, cycling, using public transport and lift-sharing for their daily journeys.Travelwest has teamed up with BetterPoints on this year’s challenge, using a clever smartphone app to record your journeys and add up rewards so that you don’t have to.Anyone who lives or works in Bristol, North Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset or South Gloucestershire can take part. It’s completely free. Signing up to the challenge can earn you rewards and there are over £5,000 worth of prizes to be given away including fitbits, free bus tickets and much more.All you have to do is download the free BetterPoints app, register and let the app track your sustainable journeys. You can compete on your own or as part of a team with friends, family or colleagues.
