Meet local bus operators at North Somerset Bus User Forums this June

The blue branded A2 airport bus stopped at a bus stop outside of a Home Bargins in Portishead.

Everyone in North Somerset is invited to attend upcoming Bus User Forums on Tuesday 9 or Friday 12 June, offering the chance to hear directly from transport operators, ask questions and share views on local bus services.

Hosted by North Somerset Council’s transport team, the forums will bring together council representatives, bus operators and community transport providers to discuss improvements to accessibility, reliability and sustainable travel.

The events will feature updates from the council, presentations from operators including First Bus, and Q&A sessions with residents.

Cllr Hugh Malyan, Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport at North Somerset Council, said: “These forums are an important opportunity for residents to speak directly with the organisations delivering local bus services. We know reliable and accessible bus services are vital for our communities, and we want to hear first-hand about people’s experiences.”

The forums will also include updates from the North Somerset Council team now running WESTlink, alongside presentations from community transport operators.

Both sessions will cover the same content, please use the links below to sign up for a preferred session:
