Lawrence Weston Community Transport provides low-cost and essential transport to Disabled individuals and other community/charity groups, serving their needs with a reliable and open service to all.

Group vehicle hire
The group must register in advance and if it falls into Section 19 criteria full details will be obtained.
Registration process
Contact LWCT to get registered. No fee for organisations.
Booking process
Vehicles can be booked for weekdays or weekends. The booking of vehicles is subject to availability and drivers.

Registration process
Individuals must register in advance by contacting LWCT. Registration is currently free (to be reviewed in late 2022).

Door-to-door services
Currently operating door-to-door transport within the Lawrence Weston area in an accessible minibus.
Services are also available in Avonmouth, booked via Avonmouth Community Centre or by contacting LWCT.
Henbury and Brentry door-to-door transport will be starting at some point in 2022.

Is the door-to-door service available outside the operating areas?
Yes, subject to the number of passengers on vehicles.
Can people living outside the operating areas use the door-to-door service?
Not currently due to limited drivers and vehicles. However, we will try to help if possible.
Outings and day trips
During summer, trips are organised to various locations such as Yate, Cheddar, Weston-super-Mare, Cadbury garden centre, Wells, Burnham and other various garden centres.
Outings and day trips usually take place on the weekends. Pick-ups are door-to-door and the start and finish are usually 10:00 to 16:00.

Can people living outside the operating areas book outings and day trips?
Only registered members can access this service.
Additional services
LWCT support a befriending group with transport on Mondays, from 10:00 to 12:30, at the Rock Community Centre in Ridingleaze for socialisation and friendship.
They also support the Rock Community Centre Lunch Club on Thursdays with transport to the centre for a subsidised lunch. This doesn’t run during summer holiday periods.
