Following last week’s initial public meeting, which proved so popular that some people had to be turned away, North Somerset Council has organised a second meeting to give more local people the chance to hear about the review.
The meeting will take place on Monday 7 August at 6.30pm at Christchurch, Chapel Hill, in the town. This venue has been chosen because it has a much larger seating capacity than the previous venue while still being within easy reach of the town centre.
Again, the meeting will be led by Cllr Mike Bell, the Leader of North Somerset Council and Cllr Hannah Young, North Somerset Council’s executive member with responsibility for active travel and a local Clevedon ward member. They will be joined by Vicky Presland from AECOM who is leading the independent review.
We committed last week to listening, and we remain keen to hear all views. Last week some people came and spoke, while others noted down their comments on paper for consideration during the review. This is a great opportunity for people to hear from AECOM about how they plan to deliver the independent review and for AECOM and the council to hear the range of views that exist.

If you weren’t able to get to the meeting last week please do come to the next one, but also be reassured that if you can’t make either, there will be other opportunities to contribute.
The review will be launched on Monday 14 August and it will last six weeks. More information about the scheme and the review, including the full review brief, is available at n-somerset.gov.uk/clevedonreview.
