To build a more inclusive and connected city, Bristol must tackle the challenges surrounding travel. With high levels of traffic congestion and harmful air pollution levels, there’s a sense of urgency to tackle these issues to improve public health. Establishing an improved transport system which is accessible to everyone in Bristol is equally critical.
The A37 and A367 Corridor project aims to improve travel between Midsomer Norton, Radstock, Westfield and Bath via the A367 and Bristol via the A37; through better bus services and enabling more walking and cycling.
New train stations are proposed as part of MetroWest Phase 2 to serve Henbury and North Filton.
Bristol City Council and Redfield Educate Together Primary Academy are working together to pilot Bristol School Streets.
