Work to start on Bath city centre active travel scheme next week
Construction starts next week on a new walking, wheeling and cycling scheme in the historic city centre of Bath.
A drop-in engagement event will be held on:
Day: Tuesday 8 July
Time: 3pm – 7pm
Location: The Hope Building, 2 The Scaurs, Worle, BS22 6QP.
The project is being supported through funding from the Bus Service Improvement Plan, which not only promotes public transport use but also offers a unique opportunity to address wider transport and accessibility issues in the area.
In addition to the in-person event, an online survey will be launched from the 8th July and will be available for three weeks.
Our goal is to create an attractive design that is tailored to local needs and the environment. To do this, we would like to hear any practical feedback you may have on features of the Worle High Street improvements by either attending the drop-in event or by completing the survey.
Cllr Hannah Young, Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport at North Somerset Council
