    Greater Anglia:

    A regular train service will run between Cambridge North and Cambridge.

    It is not yet known how Great Northern or Thameslink will be affected by this engineering work.

    Sunday:

    The 00:34 London Paddington to Reading service.

    Replacement buses will run between Slough and Burnham / Taplow.

    After this time, Taplow station is closed, and no trains / buses will run to / from the station.

    The following trains will not call at Burnham:

    The 06:20 (departing 06:36) Reading to London Paddington service.

    The 06:38 London Paddington (starting Ealing Broadway) to Reading service.

    The 23:53 Didcot Parkway to London Paddington service.

    Late night Saturday

    The following trains will be amended:

    20:23 Portsmouth Harbour to Cardiff Central will terminate Bristol Temple Meads. Road transport from Bristol Temple Meads to Filton Abbey Wood, Patchway, setting down only at Severn Tunnel Junction, Newport and Cardiff Central.

    The 21:59 Cardiff Central to Bristol Temple Meads will not run and will be replaced by road transport from Cardiff Central, picking up only at Newport and Severn Tunnel Junction, then calling Patchway before setting down only at Filton Abbey Wood and Bristol Temple Meads.

    The 22:47 Cardiff Central to Bristol Temple Meads will not run and will be replaced by road transport, picking up only at Newport, then fast to Bristol Temple Meads.

    On Sunday until 14:25

    Trains between Cardiff Central and Portsmouth Harbour / Taunton will operate to an amended timetable. Replacement buses will be provided between Bristol Parkway and Newport.

    Trains between London Paddington and Swansea / Carmarthen will depart earlier than normal and will divert between Swindon and Newport.

    The trains will not call at Bristol Parkway.

    Where no other London Paddington - Bristol Parkway service exists, Bristol Parkway customers should travel via Bristol Temple Meads and connecting services.

    Road transport will operate between Bristol Parkway and Newport (fast) taking 45 minutes.

    Avanti West Coast:

    No train service at Penrith, Carlisle, Lockerbie, Motherwell, Glasgow Central, Haymarket and Edinburgh.

    An amended train timetable will operate, with most trains running between London Euston / Birmingham New Street and Preston / Lancaster. A few trains will run to / from Oxenholme Lake District.

    Replacement buses will run between Preston and Carlisle, and between Carlisle and Glasgow Central.

    CrossCountry:

    Trains will not call at Motherwell. A replacement bus service will operate between Edinburgh and Motherwell.

    LNER:

    TransPennine Express:

    Trains will run between Manchester and Oxenholme only.

    Replacement buses will run between:

    • Oxenholme and Carlisle.
    • Carlisle and Edinburgh.

    ScotRail:

    Buses will replace trains between Wishaw and Lanark, calling at Carluke.

    Trains at Wishaw will arrive / depart from platform 2.

    Train services will run between Glasgow Central and Wishaw, calling at Cambuslang, Uddingston, Bellshill, Motherwell and Shieldmuir.

    The 07:37 and 08:37 Reading to Basingstoke, also 08:06 Basingstoke to Reading will not run and will be replaced by one bus each way at 07:37 Reading to Basingstoke and 07:47 Basingstoke to Reading.

    Buses will call Reading Green Park, Mortimer, Bramley and Basingstoke. Reading West customers travel by road / rail services between Reading and Newbury or later rail services between Reading and Basingstoke.

    The 08:06 Reading to Newbury will not run and will be replaced by earlier road transport at 07:55 from Reading to Newbury calling all stations except Newbury Racecourse.

    The 08:34 Reading to Bedwyn will start from Newbury at 08:57 (connects out of the above bus).

    Most trains to Worcester / Great Malvern / Hereford will not call at Radley. (Additional trains will operate from Didcot Parkway and Radley to Oxford).

    To London Paddington:

    Trains to London Paddington will arrive London Paddington in revised timings, most later than normal.

    Most fast trains from Oxford to London Paddington will not run.

    Most trains from Hereford / Great Malvern / Worcester to London Paddington will not call at Radley. (Additional trains will operate from Oxford and Radley to Didcot Parkway).

    Most fast trains from Swindon to London Paddington will call additionally Twyford, Maidenhead and Slough. Some will operate in revised timings.

    Local Services:

    For most of the day the hourly service between London Paddington and Didcot Parkway will operate between Reading and Didcot Parkway only.

    The 03:46 Swansea to London Paddington will start from Cardiff Central at normal time (05:07). If you are travelling from Swansea, Neath, Port Talbot Parkway and Bridgend, you will need to travel on later services.

    Engineering work is taking place between St Denys and Fareham, closing some lines overnight.

    As a result, the 21:21 Bristol Parkway to Portsmouth & Southsea service will be diverted between Southampton Central and Fareham, and will additionally call at Southampton Airport Parkway and Eastleigh. It will call at Fareham and beyond a few minutes later than usual.
