Operating area
Bath Community Transport (BCT) is available to Community groups, Church Groups, Support Groups, Social Clubs, Care Homes and Sport Foundations as well as individuals (subject to criteria).
Groups / Individuals must be based in Bath & North East Somerset, however we can transport to a wider area and have previously undertaken trips to Southmead Hospital, Weston Super Mare, Bournemouth and London to name just a few.
Overview of the service
Bath Community Transport provides fully accessible minibuses, with 12 seats, or up to 2 fixed wheelchair spaces and 6 additional seated passengers.
Subject to approval, User Groups may drive the minibus themselves, or request that we provide a driver.
Registration
GROUPS
A registration form has to be completed and returned with a registration fee which is currently £15. The ongoing annual fee is currently £10. User groups must meet certain criteria to join. Group transport is possible to anywhere within Great Britain.
INDIVIDUALS
A registration form has to be completed and returned with a registration fee which is currently £5. The ongoing annual fee is currently £5. Currently we are only able to do ‘individual’ transport for medical related journeys (e.g. Hospitals/Doctors/Dentist/Opticians)

Booking
Once membership has been confirmed, minibus booking can be requested via email or telephone. Subject to availability, vehicles are available for use at any time of day, 365 days a year.
Charges for booking vary depending on the time and mileage covered. Contact the office for more details.
Groups are invoiced each month after the month end, payment due within 30 days of invoice.
Individuals are advised the cost of their journey when booking and must pay at the time of the trip.
