How this will impact Park & Ride bus users
Bristol City Council are creating temporary bus stops near the Park & Ride either side of the A4 Portway.
If you catch the number 9 bus, you will need to use these temporary bus stops once the work gets underway.
Bristol City Council will display a notice up on the current bus stop and put directional signage up to point you in the direction of the new bus stops.
New temporary stops will be roughly in the below locations:

The project is expected to take around nine months to complete.
The A4 Portway will remain open throughout but temporary traffic signals will be used to allow for two-way traffic. Thank you for bearing with us while we work to improve Portway Park & Ride.
