Many services on the list below are changing their routes and stops around Bristol City Centre, Broadmead and Temple Meads due to works.

| 8: Temple Meads Station – Bristol City Centre – Clifton Village – Bristol City Centre – Temple Meads Station (First) | Route and Timetable Change- Due to the new East Entrance opening at Temple Meads Station, journeys to Temple Meads will terminate at Stop T1. Stop T5 on Station Approach will no longer be served. Buses towards Clifton will then run via Cattle Market Road to the new bus stop T10 on Feeder Road and loop to Old Market via Avon Street. Additionally, in connection with the Broadmead Regeneration Scheme, journeys towards Temple Meads will no longer serve The Horsefair B15 and instead serve Broad Weir S12. Journeys towards Whitchurch are unaffected in this area. However, there is a further route change in both directions in The Dings area whereby buses will operate along Avon Street in both directions. The section of route between Bradley Stoke and Bristol Parkway is withdrawn. In connection with the Broadmead Regeneration Scheme, journeys towards North Bristol will no longer serve Union Street B19 or Rupert Street B4 and instead will go via Broad Quay and serve R10 on Baldwin Street. Please also note that due to a major road closure of the A371 at Draycott in Somerset, expected to commence from 1st September 2026 for approximately 6 weeks, the service will be diverted via Wedmore and Panborough. Planned bus service changes dates
Bus operators can only submit bus registration applications to the West of England Bus Registrations Authority to operate a new service, change or cancel an existing service*, twice a year – in line with the West of England Enhanced Partnership (EP)‘s requirements.
The agreed “effective from” change dates are approximately from the beginning of April and September, each year. This page will be updated with all planned service changes, ahead of effective dates.
*Please note cross-boundary applications (for services operating in and outside of the West of England area) are still required to submit bus registration applications to the Office of the Traffic Commissioner, and where these are not required to comply with the West of England EP requirements, they may still fall outside the agreed “effective from” change dates above.
