Overview of the service
Dial-a-Ride is a door-to-door fully accessible minibus service. You can use this service to go shopping, attend medical appointments, visit key City destinations and generally play an active part in community life. The service can be used for travel within the Bath urban area, and from Corston and Newton St Loe to Bath or back.
What are the times of operation?
The Dial-a-Ride buses operate between 09:30 and 14:30 Monday to Friday (not Public Holidays).
What are the charges?
Each single journey costs £3 per person, or £1.50 for those with an English national concessionary pass (including Diamond Travelcards).
Who is eligible?
Any resident of the areas served who cannot use mainstream public transport is eligible to register for the service. If you are unsure whether you are eligible please contact the office between 10:00 and 14:00 Monday to Friday.
Registration
To use the service you must be registered as a member.
To become a member, contact the office between 10:00 and 14:00 Monday to Friday.
All wheelchairs must be risk assessed by the scheme before they can transport you.
Booking a journey
Once your registration is confirmed, you can book a journey by contacting the office between 10:00 and 14:00 Monday to Friday.
All bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance. The scheme seeks to meet all requests, however they do operate on a first-come, first-served basis. They may also offer you a slightly different journey time from what you request if this fits better with other requested journeys.
When you book your journey, don’t forget to book your return journey if needed.
Please be ready 10 minutes before your journey time.
