Plans to deliver changes to the Centre Promenade area of the City Centre have been unveiled as part of a project aimed at creating more space for pedestrians, markets and events.
Service 84/85 will no longer operate from 1 September. Alternative travel options are listed wthin this post.
Some bus timetables are being updated from 1 September and passengers are being encouraged to familiarise themselves with the revised schedule so they can continue to enjoy cheap or free bus travel from next month.
Bristol City Council is seeking views on plans to transform the way people travel through the city centre in preparation for new housing, leisure and retail developments, which will see thousands more people calling Broadmead home.
New and exciting walks join old favourites such as the urban tree walks, wellbeing walks and bat walks at this year’s Bathscape Walking Festival, which runs from Saturday 7 September to Sunday 22 September.
This Friday 9 August, Malago Road and Dalby Avenue will re-open to two-way traffic. The area has been transformed to make it easier for residents to walk/wheel, cycle, and use public transport in South Bristol.
