Changes ahead for WESTlocal 532 service

Local residents in South Gloucestershire can now check out the new WESTlocal 532 bus timetable available ahead of changes from 31 August.

Following a local survey, changes to the route and timetable are being made to the 532 service. It will soon start at Pucklechurch, rather than Yate, and run to Longwell Green and Cadbury Heath, while no longer serving Keynsham.

This will provide a new link to the shops, leisure facilities and places of work at Gallagher Retail Park in Longwell Green as well as at Emersons Green.

Members of Bitton, Oldland, Pucklechurch and Siston Parish Councils, said:

“We would like to express our gratitude to the many individuals who participated in the recent survey which helped to shape the changes to the WESTlocal service. This will connect people from both existing and new neighbourhoods in the Emersons Green, Warmley, and Oldland areas to essential places of employment, shopping, and leisure in Longwell Green.”

A spokesperson from bus operator Eurocoaches said:

“The revised route has been designed to provide a more efficient, reliable and convenient service, extending coverage to additional communities and key destinations. These enhancements have been made possible through the support and funding provided by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority in partnership with local parish councils.”

This forms part of wider changes to WESTlocal buses, designed and run by communities, which are funded through the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority’s Bus Grant from UK government until March 2026.

The timetable will be posted soon onto Travelwest.
