Information on bus services supported by the West of England Combined Authority.

Supported bus Services

The majority of bus services in the West of England are operated on a commercial basis by private bus companies.

As a Local Transport Authority, the West of England Combined Authority can fund local bus services which are deemed to be socially necessary, we refer to these as supported bus services.

These services complement the commercial network and provide services which would not otherwise exist.
