Ramblers Wellbeing Walks is a national initiative that supports communities and individuals to get more active through walking.
Why you should get involved
Walking is the most accessible form of physical activity with many physical and mental health benefits. It’s also a great way to get to know your local neighbourhood and make new friends.
Who can get involved
- Anyone of any ability wanting to get more physically active in a safe, enjoyable way
- Health and community organisations that want to develop their own walking initiative for clients or staff
How to get involved
Ramblers Wellbeing Walks is England’s largest network of health walk groups. There are several health walk groups in the West of England.
Ramblers’ Wellbeing Walks should be:
- regular
- 90 minutes or shorter
- easy and accessible to everyone
- free
- led by trained volunteers
