What people told us

In the 2025 Travel to Work Survey, more than 8,000 people shared additional comments about their journeys to and from work.

Looking across the last four years of the survey (2022–2025), these comments highlight five broad themes:

Transport and traffic policy, planning and day-to-day management
Issues specific to particular locations or workplaces
Factors that influence travel choices
Bus services
Cycling conditions and infrastructure

These insights help us understand what matters most to people and inform future transport planning and investment.
