North Bristol SusCom is a group of major businesses in North Bristol working to promote sustainable commuting to over 70,000 individuals. They work together to combat some of the significant travel congestion issues in North Bristol.
North Bristol SusCom meets every 2 months in an open forum allowing members to discuss any local issues or concerns they have, and also to present any examples of best practice amongst the group. It is also an opportunity to hear from local providers and transport operators working towards similar goals. South Gloucestershire Council is represented at the meeting to enable feedback to the group on current and future development plans and for the views of the group to be taken into consideration by the authority.
Membership is made up of most of the major employers in North Bristol including: Airbus, Atkins, Rolls Royce, Hewlett Packard Enterprises, Aviva, John Lewis, North Bristol NHS Trust and UWE amongst others.
